An 8-week virtual process group for Black women navigating the emotional and mental health impact of menopause and midlife change.
Minding Menopause is an 8-week virtual process group for Black women navigating the emotional and mental health impact of menopause and midlife change. This therapist-led group will offer a supportive, clinically grounded space to process emotional shifts, identity changes, stress, body image concerns, relationships, and the evolving experience of midlife. The group will also include psychoeducation and occasional guest experts to support whole-person wellness during this transition.

Mindfulness Meditation
I believe that all beings can learn to have a tranquil mind, relaxed body and open heart. I infuse mindfulness in my work with clients which can be helpful in deepening awareness of thoughts, urges, sensations, and emotions. Mindfulness meditation can especially be helpful for anxious thoughts, worry, and problems with focusing and concentration.
Breath Work
The body’s relaxation response can be achieved through changing the way you breathe. When triggered the body responds in a way that prepares the body for action and protection. Breathing deeply and slowly helps the body and the brain to regain a natural rhythm. For that reason, I teach clients multiple breathing tools to help clients feel more in control of stressful moods.
