Clinical Supervision for LMSWs

Are you a pre-licensed social worker seeking supportive and thoughtful clinical supervision as you work toward LCSW licensure?
I provide clinical supervision for LMSWs in Tennessee who are committed to developing strong clinical skills, ethical practice, and professional confidence.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Tennessee (License #6858) and approved to provide supervision to master’s-level clinicians pursuing LCSW licensure.
You can verify my license here:

Supervision Inquiry
If you are interested in supervision, please complete the inquiry form below. If supervision openings are available, you will be contacted to schedule a consultation.
Supervision can only begin after your LMSW license has been issued.
First Steps
Please become familiar with the following professional resources:
We will use and understand these resources as part of our work together so that you grow confidence in providing sound and ethical clinical treatment while continuing to develop into the type of LCSW you aspire to become.
What is Supervision and What is a Clinical Supervisor?
The Tennessee Rules and Regulations for Social Work define supervision as the ongoing clinical review and guidance provided by a qualified supervisor who monitors the performance of a clinician’s interaction with clients and provides instruction regarding clinical skills and competencies.

I view the clinical supervision experience as a professional, reflective, and supportive relationship that helps you build clinical skill and deepen your professional identity. We will review cases, discuss treatment planning, and explore areas for growth in your clinical work.
Part of this process includes exploring your professional “edges” and strengthening the areas that support long-term sustainability in this work.
How Will I Know if We Are a Good Fit?
During our initial consultation, you are encouraged to bring questions about supervision, expectations, and clinical development.
Paid supervision allows you to choose a supervisor who aligns with your professional goals and clinical growth.
If we decide to move forward after the consultation, I will provide a supervision contract outlining expectations, policies, and structure for our work together.
What Constitutes Clinical Experience?
According to the Tennessee Social Work Board, clinical experience involves the application of social work theory, knowledge, and advanced clinical skills in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental, emotional, and behavioral conditions.
Clinical experience generally includes work such as:
- Individual therapy
- Couples or family therapy
- Group therapy
- Crisis assessment
- Treatment planning
- Advanced case management
- Psychotherapy and counseling
Clinical experience refers to the actual time spent providing direct clinical services to clients.
What Do I Look for in a Supervisee?
Supervisees are expected to come prepared, on time, and fully engaged during our meetings.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours notice.
Documentation of supervision hours is the responsibility of the supervisee. I recommend keeping your supervision logs current each week rather than waiting until the end of your licensure period.
I will maintain my own supervisory records as required by the Tennessee Board of Social Work.
When and Where is Supervision Held?
Supervision meetings are typically held weekly via secure video conference. A meeting link will be provided prior to each session.
Fees
Individual Supervision:
60 minutes – $125 per session
Group Supervision (2–3 clinicians):
75 minutes – $65 per person per session
Payment is expected weekly. Bi-weekly payment arrangements may be discussed if needed.
I invite you to bring your full professional self to the supervision experience and remain open to reflection, growth, and connection. Clinical work can be demanding, and supervision is intended to support you as you build your professional foundation.
